Howe Fire Rescue
Established in 1951 as the Howe Volunteer Fire Department. Howe Fire Rescue is proud to serve the residents, businesses, and visitors of Howe, Texas. In January 2024, we transitioned to a combination fire department, operating under the City of Howe Administration, led by one full-time Fire Chief and six full-time Firefighter/EMS personnel supported by a dedicated group of volunteer firefighters who proudly answer the call to serve their community.
Our department is committed to protecting life, property, and the environment through professional fire suppression, emergency medical services, rescue operations, and fire prevention and education. Whether responding to emergencies or working proactively to reduce risk, the members of Howe Fire Rescue train continuously to maintain the highest standards of safety and service.
At Howe Fire Rescue, we believe strong communities are built on trust, preparedness, and teamwork. Our combination staffing model allows us to deliver reliable, around-the-clock emergency response while maintaining close ties to the community we serve. From emergency response to public education events and community outreach, we are proud to stand ready—24 hours a day, 7 days a week.
Howe Fire Rescue — Serving with Pride Since 1951.
